Qualification Details:

For NCBS funded Project entitled "Dynamic modelling of a-synucleinopathy patholoy using hiPSC-derived cerebral organoids for biomarkers and drug screening application (P-5397)"

1.Post : Project Assistant (Temporary)

2.Qualification & Experience (Essential): Pass with 60% marks in M.Sc 

(Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology) with hands on experience in molecular cloning techniques OR animal cell culture, techniques, Qualified in NET.

3.Qualification & Experience (Desirable): Experience in growing or maintaining human embryonic stem cells (hESC)/induced pluripotent  stem cell lines (iPSC) OR Any experience in genome editing using CRISPR Case

4.Number of vacancies: 1 OBC

5.Consolidated remuneration: 31000/- + 16% HRA per month.

6.Tenure of Appointment till 25.11.2021 or completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

7.Brief job description: Assist in establishing hiPSC based in vitro disease models employing molecular biology techniques and characterizing the disease phenotypes.

8.Nature of appointment : Temporary (Purely on contract).

Maximum age limit as on 30.06.2021 35 Years
